AAA automobile clubs had a two-fold purpose: First, to provide specialized services to members – such as emergency road service, travel and touring service, and other direct benefits. Secondly, to work for the improvement of motoring and travel conditions generally, particularly in the field of legislation, highways and taxation, and street and highway safety.
AAA Carolinas is proud of its service record – the role it has played in the welfare of the Carolinas and its contribution to the nation at large through its affiliation with the American Automobile Association.
AAA Carolinas remains a civic, non-profit corporation, that 10, 20, or 100 years from now will be as earnestly defending the rights of members and the motoring public as it is today.
New services undreamed of in our present economy will be at your disposal.
In the future, as in the past, AAA will take a leading part in civic work, safety activities, legislative representation, and in personalized service.
The officers and the board of directors are determined that the Club shall maintain its leadership in the field of service, protection and savings for the motorist. With this great tradition of motoring welfare to build upon, the future is bright for a vital, outstanding and significant Carolinas organization.
